Bombs Away Arcade - Pixel Art ECS
A downloadable game for Windows
Bombs Away
A short duration project to try out the newly public open source game engine "Murder Engine". It is based on old arcade games with a short and simple gameplay loop. The goal is to drop bombs on as many naval targets while avoiding the flak that threatens your plane.
Each attempt features a randomized wind direction to contend with, affecting your bomb drop location, and therefore how you position your plane.
Randomized enemies between small, medium, and large ships.
Most flak is random, but some target you directly, indicated by a visual and audio cue requiring evasive action.
High Score is saved between sessions
Controls:
W, A, S, D / Arrow Keys to control the plane.
Space to drop bombs.
A few gamepad types supported and tested. PlayStation, Xbox, generic.
Joystick to move
South face button to drop bombs
